ISO Standard Process
According the standardization process are predicted some stages and the necessary documentation, among which we can mention:
- The Contract (Agreement) with the customer, where is included in a detailed way the relationship between the Consultant and the Customer and also the Stages in which will pass the standardization process.
- The recommended quality System’s Structure, which will be adopted by the Customer under the Consultant assistance, which includes 3 level of documentation.
- Consultation and implementation system.
- Interior control “audit”.
- The successful release of the international Certificate.
- The international Certificate expires within 3 years, and after these 3 years it should be submitted again to the re-certification.
The process period and conditions
The Consultation process, up to the receiving of ISO Certificate lasts from 3 to 8 months.
- The way of establishing the time and the price, is realized according the general questionnaire, which is filled in by the Customer (The Company). (In general, crucial criterions are the Company activity object, the employee number, the locations that will be included in the process, the variety of the processes, the complexity of the commercial activities etc.)
Which are some of the more used standards?
ISO 9000:2000 “The quality management systems; principles and the terminology”
This standard prescribes the 8 principles of the quality management systems and also the terminology used”.
ISO 9001:2000 “The quality management systems –The requirements”
This standard specifies the requirements for a quality management system, in which the organization shows its ability for the requirements´ implementation and guarantees the product stability that receives the customer. It also satisfies continually the customers` requirements through the effective implementation of the quality system and also to its continual improvement to guarantee the requirements implementation.
ISO 9004:2000 “The quality management systems; is a guideline for the forecasts´ achievement”. This standard presents the Guidelines and takes into consideration the efficiency of the quality system within the organization.
ISO 19011:2002 “The guidelines about the quality control for the environmental protection”. This standard guarantees the verifications of the quality management system and of the environmental protection.
ISO 22000 HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point)
HACCP has now a complete standard ISO 22000, which defines the requirements for the guide system of not hazardous foods.
HACCP is a system that helps the Companies to identify the potential hazards that affect the safety of the foods in their whole production chain and to be taken preventive measures for their control.
HACCP is a system that guarantees that the safety of the foods is managed effectively.
The word “Hazard” is used in the HACCP system being defined as a “biological, physic or chemical agent, or as a condition of the food that has a potential impact on the health”. A “Critical control point” is a stage in which is implemented the control that prevents or eliminates a hazard of the food or reduces it up to an acceptable level”. HACCP is based in the principle that the hazards that have an impact in the foods` safety can be reduced or eliminated by the prevention during the production and not by the inspection of the final product.
ISO 27001
Information Security System.
